We are currently accepting pitches as well as completed essays and articles on contemporary poetics, broadly defined.

Examples of possible topics include:

-Work that maps current practices in poetry and poetry publishing.

-Essays/reviews that discuss multiple books by a variety of writers or one particular writer.

-Work that looks at translation as a particular poetic practice.

-Essays on the intersection of poetry and the visual arts.

You may use this form to attach your pitch or completed work.

We request links to at least two previously published pieces.

For potential reviewers, please indicate which book(s) you might be interested in working on. Once we have received your pitch, we will provide you with our in-house book list.

Simultaneous submissions are welcome, but please inform us promptly if your work is to be published elsewhere.

Our primary criterion for assessment is good writing that engages in a rigorous way with the landscape of contemporary writing.

For questions, bookstore/library orders, or press/submission inquiries please email Barrett White, Managing Editor, at barrett@pin-journal.com.
